Meet Charlotte Long
Farrier at Wild Flower Hoof Care & Horseshoeing
I
grew up in a Chicago suburb, where my passion for horses and hoof care
started by volunteering at Danada Equestrian Center.
As I cleaned
stalls and brushed horses, many of the other volunteers shared their equine
knowledge and encouraged me in my goal to become a farrier.
I moved to Georgia
to pursue my goal,
and I’m a proud graduate of the Casey & Son Horseshoeing
School.
The northwest area of Georgia, with its welcoming people, is now
my home.
As an apprentice to Ken Hart, I have been able to gain experience working
with animals of different sizes and personalities.
Mr. Hart has allowed me to
work with the animal, no matter the challenge,
to provide quality hoof
care.
I have been the farrier for horses, ponies, minis, mules, donkeys, goats,
and cows.
